6 Steps to Prepare Interview for Fresh Graduate

1. Search Information About Company 

This is the most important thing to do before interview, not only about company generally but also in detail. Because, you should know about company vision and mission, and how your skill useful to what company needs.

So, when human resource or corporate leader ask you about these questions you can answer calmly. This will be your good point than other job seekers about your knowledge about company.


2. Maximize Appearance

Even if you are a fresh graduate you cannot wear anything you want. In the office, you have to show respect with wearing neat and clean clothes, shoes, and combing your hair neatly. 

Don't forget to smile often because it will make you look confident.


3. Anticipate Questions You Might Be Asked

It's important to think early about questions that may be asked so you can anticipate and answer calmly.
these is the type questions to be asked oftenly:
  • Can you tell me about your self?
  • What interest you in this job?
  • What is your greatest strengths?
  • What is your weakness?
  • What are your salary requirements?

4. Show Your Strengths

Sometimes as fresher you will be confused to answer what your strengths. When you face interview, feeling nervous is natural thing, but you have to manage not to look worried. Therefore, you should know what your strengths according to job you are applying for.

Tell about your strengths short and clear, don't overestimate your self. And don't overdo abilities that you don't actually have.


5. Pay Attention to Your Body Language

"Your body communicates as well as your mouth. Don't contradict your self" - Allen Rudock
 In interview body language is also like communication, so make sure to pay attention to your gesture. Because gesture or body language show what you think oftenly.

Therefore, look for knowledge or reference of good body language and be able to convince the interviewer like hand movements, how to shake hand, sitting position, etc.


6. Be On Time

Allow enough time to get there and anticipate traffic. At least, you have to arrived 10-15 minutes early. Otherwise, the interviewer may not ready for you. so make sure you don't late from every test or interview. Make interviewer waiting to long is a bad thing, it can be your minus value.
